PBN Nummer (Pre-Boarding Notification)
A PBN is a "virtual envelope" in which the details of the main reference numbers (MRN) of all customs declarations for the goods are summarised in one place. Each PBN has a unique identifier, the PBN ID. A Pre-Boarding Notification (PBN) is required for all vehicles booked as cargo on a RoRo ferry.
